Prior to the contest, Wilder had accused Fury of cheating on a slew of occasions with him claiming Fury was using horse padding in his gloves to thin out his gloves. While Wilder’s pleas fell on deaf ears as his complaint was rejected by the Nevada Athletic Commission, the Bronze Bomber continued to level the allegations at Fury.
Fury who knocked out Wilder in round 11 not only retained his WBC heavyweight title but also ended the trilogy series between the two with a 2-0 win.
