British actor, Tom Felton who had portrayed Dacro Malfoy in the Harry Potter series collapsed during a celebrity golf exhibition match at the Ryder Cup 2021

As the customary celebrity golf exhibition match got underway at this year’s Rider Cup, an unprecedented bit of worrying development emerged from the showdown. British actor Tom Felton who was part of the European celebrity team collapsed while walking off the 18th green upon the conclusion of his side’s match with the US team.

Both the sides had wrapped up posing for photos and interacting with the people in attendance when Felton seized and fell to the ground. The medical team was rushed to Whistling Straits as the European Ryder Cup team came down to the ninth fairway for its practice session.

Tom Felton Collapses During Celebrity Ryder Cup 2021 Match

While the Ryder Cup organisers refused to dwell into what had exactly lead to Felton collapsing, they provided a health update where it was revealed the 34 year old actor was taken to a local hospital and was conscious.

Felton was treated on the course for some time before being escorted away for treatment in a cart as the spectators sent him off to a rapturous applause. Members of the Junior Ryder Cup team were caddies for the celebrity match with the European team including soccer star Alessandro Del Piero, Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks player Toni Kukoc, Teemu Selanne, Stephanie Szostak and NBA player Sasha Vujacic.

Felton who had turned 34 on Wednesday and hails from Surrey, England is known for his role as Dacro Malfoy in the Harry Potter movie series. He has also acted in The Flash TV series and Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
