With an astounding 623 million followers on Meta’s platform, 39-year-old Cristiano Ronaldo is currently the most followed person on Instagram. Not to be outdone, The Rock, 51, continues to maintain his position as the most followed actor and wrestler on Instagram, having racked up over 397 million devoted followers.

When asked about his thoughts on the world-renowned football player during the Q&A session, The Rock grabbed the opportunity with a clever response. He chuckled, smiling, “Oh my God…he’s [Ronaldo] been paying for his followers for years.”

Even though the remark was made in fun, it sparked discussion and debate among media outlets and fans alike. As the most followed football player on the planet, Ronaldo is the embodiment of global sports stardom and one of the best paid players in the world. In the meantime, none can match The Rock’s unmatched presence in the WWE and on the big screen. He is a legendary figure in both industries.

Al-Nassr and Cristiano Ronaldo give Al-Hilal the title advantage

Al-Nassr is in terrible condition, as they are without a win in three straight games in all competitions. After a wild run of events that ended with a crushing loss to Al-Raed 1-3, it seems like Al-Nassr’s hopes of winning the league title have been destroyed. Moreover, their prospects of qualifying for the Champions League are now in jeopardy.

Even though Cristiano Ronaldo made a comeback in league action, he was ultimately unable to stop his club from losing. Simply put, Ronaldo had a bad night. The 39-year-old had numerous chances to establish his dominance during the game, but it was not meant to be. The Portuguese was unable to direct his headers into the net, the kind of shots that are often the striker’s bread and butter.

Al-Nassr’s chances of winning the league seem increasingly slim with only 11 games left in the tournament, especially since Al-Hilal is nine points ahead with a game in hand.
