This past weekend, a video showing Celtics player Jayson Tatum dancing up on a DJ set while a random fan tried to make fun of him by holding up a phone with the words “Stephen Curry is your daddy” written on it went viral. Tatum chuckled when he saw it.

For the first time since 2019, Jayson Tatum has an entire summer to himself, and he certainly seems to be making the most of it as evidenced by his appearance at Michael Rubin’s Fourth of July party in the Hamptons.
Fans are still talking about Jayson Tatum three weeks after Stephen Curry upset the Celtics to win the 2022 NBA Finals.
The Boston Celtics enjoyed a fantastic campaign. Jayson Tatum and company managed to complete the regular season as the second-best team in the East despite having a ranking as low as 11th at one point. In the playoffs, Ime Udoka’s team defeated Kevin Durant’s Nets, Giannis’ Bucks, and Jimmy Butler’s Heat, but finally lost to the Stephen Curry-led Golden State Warriors.
One of the all-time top finals performances was by Chef Curry. The 6-foot-3 sniper went on a scoring spree while competing against the best defensive team in the playoffs. The Baby-Faced Assassin shot the ball at a very effective 48.2/43.7/85.7 split and averaged a fantastic 31.2 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 2 steals over the course of the 6 games.
Steph messed with the inexperienced Celtics team and set a number of records throughout the Celtics-Warriors series. Certain Boston players may still have nightmares about Curry pushing their defence to disintegrate.
And even if the players have moved past it, the supporters will make sure they never forget it.

During what appeared to be a Fourth of July party, Jayson Tatum was having a nice time until a spectator decided to bring up the horrible event JT went through while trying to guard Steph.
The former Duke Blue Devil received a humorous phone display from a fan that stated, “Steph Curry is your daddy.” Jayson Tatum was limited to a smile and a nod.

Since this was Tatum’s first time competing in the finals, I’d say he did very well. The 24-year-old averaged a mind-blowing 21.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, seven assists, and 1.2 blocks per game.
We know for a sure that JT and company will have a strong chance to duplicate the success they experienced this past season, or even improve it by winning the 2023 title, since the Cs have already made a few important additions to their team.
