Video footage of the insane fight between Stefan Savic and Jack Grealish in the Wanda Metropolitano tunnel has gone viral
You just don’t go around messing with Diego Simeone and his players.
Ruthless and relentless, Simeone has over the years gone onto form a battle hardened unit at Atletico Madrid, a side which emotes his gallantry and no nonsense approach. And the traits came to the fore during the side’s quarterfinal showdown against Manchester City on Wednesday night with a mammoth brawl breaking out in the matchup.

Things first turned sour after Phil Foden decided to waste time in the tailend of the encounter as the hosts strived to restore parity in the encounter. Rolling out of the pitch and then back onto it, Foden was grabbed up by Savic as he vied to get the City player back on his feet to resume the encounter.
It was then that things kicked off on the night with both the set of players involved in a massive brawl with Savic and Grealish seen having a go at each other after Grealish called Savic a c*nt. And while things eventually broke up as proceedings resumed, Savic was in no mood to give Grealish a free pass with him rushing towards the City man as both the teams made their way down the tunnel.
Video footage of the scuffle has gone viral with the police needing to step in between to ensure things didn’t blow out of proportion. City meanwhile managed to make it to the ensuing round after sealing a 0-0 draw on the night.
