On Saturday afternoon, groups of Southampton and Tottenham supporters started throwing chairs at one another in the middle of a busy road with their fight video now viral

Spurs’ supporters in Hampshire apparently didn’t just blow a two-goal advantage; they also tried to brawl with Saints fans. A video has surfaced of a pitiful effort at a fight in which the participants threw chairs from a bar’s porch at one another and ran at one another.

Spurs bottled a two-goal lead and lost 2 points.

James Ward-late Prowse’s penalty gave Southampton a point. At Saint Mary’s, they overcame a deficit to defeat Tottenham. Both teams were obliged to make two replacements during the disastrous first half. Due to injuries, Jan Bednarek and Saints’ Armel Bella-Kotchap were also replaced. Ben Davies and Richarlison were both injured.

Just before halftime, Pedro Porro scored the game’s first goal by putting a shot into the roof of the net. Che Adams scored the equaliser 47 seconds into the second half, but with 15 minutes left, Harry Kane’s header and a strong Ivan Perisic effort gave the Saints reason to believe they would lose.

Theo Walcott’s tucked finish to Sekou Mara’s header, though, served as the catalyst for Southampton’s comeback. Then Ward-Prowse finished the move from the spot to earn an important point.

Antonio Conte bashed Spurs players and management

Tottenham manager Antonio Conte criticised his team and the organisation after the game, saying: the players have to take responsibility. Moreover, he said he doesn’t see a team but sees several selfish players.

“At this time, we are not a team; we lack the necessary spirit, and we are not prepared to give our all on the field in order to earn the victory and demonstrate a sense of camaraderie. And when you don’t have this, it implies your season will end very poorly.”

Further, the Spurs boss said that the fans and supporters deserve much better than this team thus the players must assume proper responsibilities. Conte continued that players don’t want to play under tension or under pressure. The tale of Tottenham is this. The owner has been there for 20 years, but this is why they have never been successful.
