The worst fears of the fans turned out to be true after images from a recent event appeared with Sorin Comsa seeing his video go viral
Enraged fans questioned why people endorse this garbage.
When Dana White’s Power Slap League was first introduced, the idea had already generated a great deal of controversy. Although watching a fight may be entertaining, direct unbroken contact with the face from a fist striking with full force seems exceedingly dangerous. After pictures from a recent event surfaced, it turned out that the worst suspicions of the fans were accurate.

The game’s rules are rather straightforward. The contestants square off against one another and smack each other until one eventually gives in or is knocked out. There aren’t many regulations, and fewer of them are actually followed if the competition’s historical precedents are any indication. It’s never a terrible idea to have constant access to a crucial bodily part.
Is Dana White doing the right thing?
These competitions are extremely popular throughout Eastern Europe. Even Dana White acknowledged receiving inspiration from browsing social media for similar fighting leagues. White, being the savvy businessman that he is, decided to leverage his money and connections to launch his own high-end commercial slapping league before any rivals did.
The RXF Slap Fighting Championship are well known in Romania. In a recent video from that match, Sorin Comsa’s opponent Alexandru Gorczyca struck him with a startling slap. Like a true veteran, Cosma not only defended himself but also alerted the authorities to the illegal nature of the action.
By western standards, the $7800 award Sorin received for winning the competition is a pretty little figure. On the other side, his face was left in a horrific state, which naturally horrified many spectators who weren’t familiar with the sport.
Dana White has been adamant about his position, mocking the critics with the statement, “Nobody’s pushing you to watch this! Oh, you find it repulsive?” Additionally, he justified the promotion by adding, “All of these are topics that we must educate people about, just as we did with mixed martial arts.”
