“Sore loser” is what Roy Keane called Mikel Arteta as Arsenal lost to Manchester United
After a dismal start to the new season, Erik ten Hag’s reorganised team has now won four straight games after outwitting the Gunners at Old Trafford.
Mikel Arteta’s team had substantial stretches of control in a closely contested encounter, but Marcus Rashford and United’s threat on the break ultimately delivered the home club a 3-1 victory. After a strong summer window, United is now only three points behind the leader. They no longer resemble the group that Brentford thrashed 4-0 last month.
Roy Keane Hits Out At Mikel Arteta For Making Excuses After Defeat During Manchester United vs Arsenal, Video Goes Viral
Meanwhile, Roy Keane, who did the same thing just days after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was fired last season, is the latest to criticise Mikel Arteta’s antics following the Arsenal manager’s failure at Old Trafford.
Roy Keane Calls Out Mikel Arteta As “Sore Loser” After Arsenal Lost To Manchester United
Arsenal equalised in the second half but it proved to be a false dawn for Arteta’s men as United instantly regained control of proceedings and scored two quick-fire goals to end the Gunners’ unconvincing unbeaten streak.
After his team suffered consecutive losses, Keane attacked Arteta for being a “sore loser” in his postgame remarks.
After the game, Keane spoke to Football Daily about United’s fourth straight Premier League victory:
Listen, I’m fed up with all of their excuses.”
“Listen, he’s a sore loser like us all. But he’s got to give a little bit of credit to Man United but he never does.”
🗣 "He's a sore loser."

The Reds, who were purportedly far behind Arsenal in development, are now only three points behind them. Ten Hag hinted after the game that Arsenal had had their boss for longer than United has. It didn’t appear that way on the field. Ten Hag’s club is still being rebuilt, but United was persuasive and has made significant progress.
Over the summer, Lisandro Martinez was linked to Arsenal, and Ten Hag’s decision to go above and above to sign the Argentine was once again supported.
