After being suspended for two games, Ja Morant is now getting more attention because Skip Bayless asked on national TV if he was a member of the Crip gang.

During an episode of Undisputed on FS1, Bayless talked about Ja Morant’s alleged gang signs and asked if he was a member of the Crip gang. Bayless is said to have talked to people in the league who wondered if Morant was really part of the gang. He also said that he had seen Morant make the Crip sign more than once.

People are angry about what Bayless said online, and many of them are criticising him for spreading harmful stereotypes. Several fans took to social media to tell Bayless how disappointed they were that he had said such a thing. Some people also defended Morant, saying that showing gang signs doesn’t always mean that someone is in a gang.

Morant has since put out a statement. In which he apologises for what he did and says that he is responsible for what happened. He also said that he would be taking time away from the team to work on his mental health and find better ways to deal with stress. The Memphis Grizzlies haven’t said anything about what Bayless said yet.

Ja Morant, who is 22 years old, is a professional basketball player for the Memphis Grizzlies. He is a point guard. He was born and raised in Dalzell, South Carolina, and played college basketball at Murray State University. In the 2019 NBA draught, the Grizzlies picked him with the second overall pick. Since then, he has become one of the most promising young players in the league.
In his first season, Ja Morant led the Grizzlies to the playoffs. This by averaging 17.8 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 7.3 assists per game. In 2020, he was named NBA Rookie of the Year. Second season, he has continued to impress, averaging 27.1 points, 6.0 rebounds, and 8.2 assists per game.
