Security at the Dodgers Stadium wasn’t taken any chances with the pitch invader who had interrupted the Los Angeles Dodgers vs Arizona Diamondbacks game
Ever since the foray of sports into the world a raft of centuries back, one aspect which has gone hand in glove with the fraternity is overzealous fans invading matches in a bid to emerge in the limelight.
Be it from ardent fans yearning to get a picture with their favourite players, miscreants looking to cause mayhem and wreck havoc during matches or protestors striving to convey their message, pitch invaders have been the same across the global stage. They have often gone head over heels in an effort to invade the field of play, as was evident during the Dodgers vs Arizona Diamondbacks game at the Dodgers stadium.
Los Angeles Dodgers vs Arizona Diamondbacks Sees Pitch Invader Protesting The Dodgers Stadium
However, unfortunately for the two pitch invaders during the game, the security personnel were having none of their antics. They were routed by the concerned authorities after attempting to showcase their protest against the Dodgers stadium.
It all began when a pitch invader ran across the field carrying a big sign. He was quickly wiped out by security who tackled him to the grass with six guards jumping on him to refrain him from further disrupting play.

Seeing that his counterpart had been rendered obsolete, another pitch invader took to the centre before he too suffered the same destiny. Both were eventually escorted away from the premises by the guards.
The pitch invaders were seen carrying signs which read Bishop, La Loma and Palo Verde, three low income neighborhoods of Chavez Ravine. The invaders were trying to protest the removal of these territories in a bid to build the Dodger Stadium.
