A Seahawks enthusiast named Jose Lozano recounts an incident where Marshawn Lynch, the legendary former Seattle Seahawks running back, unleashed his “Beastmode” persona outside a downtown Seattle bar over the weekend and broke his mobile phone
The encounter occurred in front of Xtadium around 1:30 AM on Sunday. According to Lozano, he attempted to take a photo with Lynch inside the bar earlier in the night but was denied by Lynch’s friends with a straightforward “No pictures.”

Despite this, when Lozano spotted Lynch outside the bar a short while later, he made a final attempt to get a photo with the Seahawks icon before calling it a night.
In video footage, Lozano can be seen approaching Lynch, who is donning a Beastmode sweatshirt, and enthusiastically yelling, “Marshawn! Beastmode! Let me take a—” Suddenly, Lynch appears to lunge at Lozano’s phone before the footage abruptly ends.
Lynch Grabbed Lozano’s Phone
Lozano reveals that after the camera stopped rolling, Lynch grabbed his phone, exclaiming, “Y’all motherf***ers are weird,” and proceeded to damage the device with his hands. Eventually, Lozano managed to retrieve the phone just before Lynch left the area.
Lozano admits he didn’t realize his recently purchased iPhone 14 was broken until several minutes later. Despite the incident, he has no plans to involve the police, as he is a devoted fan.
However, he expresses disappointment in Lynch’s perceived rudeness. Notably, this is not the first time Lynch has been accused of reacting negatively to fans’ phones; in 2017, he reportedly swatted a phone from a man’s hands at LAX.
Lynch, who last played in the NFL in the 2019 season, has been contributing to Amazon’s “Thursday Night Football” coverage this season.
