After trailing Green Bay 20-10 at the half, the fifth-year quarterback led a 14-point rally, highlighted by 2-yard runs by Gary Brightwell and Saquon Barkley, to grab a 27-20 lead late in the game. Overall, Jones completed 21 of his 27 passes for 217 yards, setting up his playmakers to score the goals required to defeat the Packers. In the win, he ran 10 times for 37 yards, making many significant plays with his legs. Also deserving of praise is the Giants’ defence, which limited Rodgers and company to 0 points and a meagre 98 yards over the course of four second-half possessions.
