Kl Rahul showed immense respect to Rohit Sharma as he paused to let his senior leave the Lord’s pitch first during the 2nd England vs India test match
Stepping out to bat first after Virat Kohli ended up losing his 36th toss in test matches, India faced a daunting task. Navigating the new ball was going to be a tedious task with the overcast conditions only making things even trickier.
However, KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma were in the form of their life on the day. Despite rain marring the contest persistently, the two didn’t allow their concentration to waver as they parried away everything the English bowlers threw at them.
KL Rahul Pauses To Let Rohit Sharma Through At Lord’s During The England vs India 2nd Test Match
Notching a century partnership for the side, the two put India in a position of control on the day. And a massive reason for them thriving on testing conditions was due to the chemistry the two shared, one on show as rain halted play.
Pausing as they reached the boundary, Rahul stepped back to allow Sharma to pass through. Rohit however pushed Rahul despite being his senior as the two departed the pitch together.
