What’s in the Video?
In the video, two of the referees aggressively approach each other, exchanging punches, while a third referee intervenes by tackling one of them to the ground.
The brawl unfolds just a few feet away from young players, prompting horrified reactions from onlookers. Off-camera, a man exclaims in shock as a young player backs off the court, covering his mouth.
Plainclothes individuals rjush onto the court to break up the fight, with one person restraining a referee as the other two continue to grapple on the floor. A woman behind the scorekeeping table is seen jogging over to shield a team of kids from the violent altercation.

Fortunately, no one suffered serious injuries during the incident, and the Gold Crown Foundation, which oversees youth sports programs, clarified that no children, coaches, or parents were directly involved.
The foundation took swift action, suspending all three referees involved in the brawl from the league. The Gold Crown Foundation, using its in-house camera system, identified the individuals and promptly removed them from the premises.
In a statement, the foundation expressed regret over the unacceptable behavior witnessed by everyone, especially the children. They issued a public apology and emphasized the importance of prioritizing the best interests of the kids in youth sports.
The organization asserted its zero-tolerance policy for adult behavior that jeopardizes the safety or experience of the young participants, reinforcing the need for responsible conduct in the realm of youth sports.
The statement of the foundation reads “This is an unfortunate reminder that we all need to keep the kids’ best interest in mind and that our adult behavior plays a pivotal role in youth sports.
“Let this also be a reminder to everyone that Gold Crown has zero tolerance for any adult behavior that puts the kids’ experience or safety at risk.”
