Clips show Goonew who was shot to death making his presence felt at the Bliss Nightclub in Washington D.C. even after his demise during a show which was being held in celebration of his life. The videos show the DMV rapper’s corpse standing upright on stage after he was shot dead on March 18 aged just 24 years.
While its customary for some cultures to take the body of the departed soul to places where they believe the person enjoyed the most during his time on Earth, there’s no clarification on if Goonew’s family had decided to send his body to the club. While reports sprung up of it being a wax recreation, rapper Black Fortune who performed at the show busted the claims as he took to his Instagram Story to write, “No this ain’t no wax figure my Brodie went out gansta.”
Goonew’s body can be seen wearing sneakers, jeans, an Amiri hoodie and a crown on his head with ardent fans of the rapper livid at what they had seen as they lashed out at the set of events which transpired.
