PCB Chief Ramiz Raja admitted that cricket in Pakistan can collapse any time Indian PM Narendra Modi and BCCI desire
Pakistan has over the years become a country which never fails to provide unbridled entertainment and comedy.
Despite being at the mercy of China, a country which has entrapped it by lending billions to Pakistan, an amount the debt ridden country can’t repay now, the Pakistani leadership hasn’t shied from making outlandish statements. Lead by a bemusing Imran Khan, Pakistan has gone onto wage war with its neighbors with its support to Taliban during the Afghanistan crisis well documented.
Ramiz Raja Fears PM Narendra Modi And BCCI Will Collapse The PCB
However, you can only create a ruse for so long and Pakistan’s horrid financial position is finally out in the open. PCB Chief Ramiz Raja recently talked about how the Indian Government lead by the BJP with PM Narendra Modi at the helm and the BCCI had the power to wreck havoc in Pakistan’s cricket any time they wanted.
Raja who was made the PCB Chief unopposed, replacing Ehsan Mani spoke infront of Pakistan’s Senate Standing Committee were he spoke about his fears. “PCB is funded 50% by the ICC that is funded 90% by the BCCI or in a way, the Indian business houses are running Pakistan cricket. If tomorrow Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi feels that we won’t provide any funding to Pakistan, then this cricket board can collapse,” Raja said.

Both the New Zealand and England cricket teams recently withdrew from their tours of Pakistan owing to security threats. Given the manner in which the country has harbored terrorists over the year, much blame can’t be pinned on either the Black Caps or the English side’s decision.
