On December 8, when the Las Vegas Raiders faced the Los Angeles Rams away at the SoFi Stadium, a major brawl occurred but remained unnoticed as the Rams fans decided to fight each other in the viral video

With less than four minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, the Raiders blew a 13-point lead and fell 17-16, to to the chagrin of their supporters, who began fighting among themselves when they realised they wouldn’t get to see Las Vegas triumph.

In his picture-perfect L.A. debut, Baker Mayfield leads a historic game-winning drive.

In the fourth quarter, the Los Angeles Rams scored 14 unanswered scores to overcome the Las Vegas Raiders 17-16. Baker Mayfield, the new Rams quarterback, led an eight-play, 98-yard drive with 1:45 remaining in the fourth quarter and the Rams losing by six points. He made a 23-yard touchdown connection with Van Jefferson with just 10 seconds remaining.

According to Elias Sports Bureau, the Rams’ 98-yard game-winning TD drive was the longest to begin in the final two minutes during the preceding 45 seasons.

The Raiders kept the game’s pace throughout, but Josh McDaniels’ team unquestionably slowed down in the second half. Derek Carr finished with 137 passing yards and two interceptions, while Josh Jacobs gained 99 rushing yards and a touchdown. Davante Adams also made a number of noteworthy plays while catching three catches for a total of 71 yards.

John Wolford, the Rams’ starting quarterback, was replaced by Baker Mayfield after just one drive. As the former No. 1 overall pick completed 22 of 35 passes for 230 yards and a touchdown, Ben Skowronek hauled in seven catches for 89 yards.

Why the Raiders fell short?

Las Vegas played well in the beginning of the game, but they had trouble getting first downs and were never able to get a big enough lead to control the game. Derek Carr finished with a rating of 36.9 as opposed to Mayfield’s 91.4.

The Raiders were up by 13 points with just over four minutes remaining in the contest and the Rams driving. Although the Rams offence had yet to score a touchdown in the game, when the Raiders let their guard down, they opened the door for a comeback. Mayfield saw his opportunity and pounced on it, coming back with fast play, accurate passes, and assurance. The Raiders’ defence was unable to continue, and the game ended.

The Raiders appeared to be getting better, but they keep blowing leads, and it’s starting to look like a habit.
