But in subsequent weeks, a video shared on social media by the TikTok user ‘Vallin’ has gone viral. Sterling can be seen collecting Chelsea jerseys before a fan requests him to autograph a Man City shirt.
The Englishman first chose to sign the jersey, but he soon realized it belonged to Man City. He made the decision not to sign it, turn to the left, and go on writing other Chelsea garments.
The video has received over 1600 views and has been retweeted 250 times due to Sterling’s unwillingness to endorse the Man City shirt.
When word spread that the previous Red had closed a deal to go from Man City to Chelsea, there was no surprise an upsurge in eager inquiries for “Raheem Sterling sell-on clause” in Liverpool.
