With the state’s incumbent government unable to rein in the string of terrorism and miscreants reeling the land, Khalistani elements and anti-nationals have been given a free run to spread their agenda and instill fear in the hearts of people.
Video Shows Punjab Police Drinking Tea With Protestors During Security Lapse Ahead Of PM Modi Rally Today
The horrendous plight of security in Punjab was documented once again on Wednesday with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s security suffering a colossal lapse ahead of his rally in Ferozepur. The PM who was travelling to the National Martyrs Memorial by road after landing at the Bhatina airport was stuck on a flyover for 15-20 minutes as self proclaimed farmer protests blocked the route with the Punjab Police failing to ensure the roads were cleared as per protocol.
“The Ministry of Home Affairs has sought a detailed report on today’s security breach in Punjab. Such dereliction of security procedure in the Prime Minister’s visit is totally unacceptable and accountability will be fixed,” Union Home Minister Amit Shah said.
It is yet to be discovered how the protesters were informed of the The PM arriving with his route changed only 20 minutes prior to him reaching the area. Given the stringent norms in place to ensure the PM of the country travels without any lapses in his security, the police of every state has to ensure such information isn’t leaked and malicious elements aren’t allowed to unfurl teror.

Video footage has now come to light of manifold Punjab Police personnel drinking tea and conversing with the protestors on the road rather than ensuing the premises was vacated to allow the PM’s safe passage.
