One wild fan jumped onto the pitch during Thursday’s Europa League match between PSV and Sevilla FC and punched Sevilla goalie Marko Dmitrovic but the Serbian star was prepared for the smoke which gave the fan a rude awakening as the video went viral

During a Europa League game on Thursday, an irate fan stormed the field and punched a player in the face and his reward was being hauled outside by security after receiving a savage right hand. During the last minutes of play, the fan attacked Dmitrovic in the face before being pulled to the ground by the Serbian.
The incident happened at Philips Stadium, where PSV was playing Sevilla FC, in the Netherlands. Before starting, the man approaches Dmitrovic head-on, but Marko shows quick reflexes and knocks the fan to the ground with one blow. The man was dressed in a black jacket, blue jeans, and sneakers when he carried out the ambush, and after Dmitrovic levelled him, Marko attempted to hold him down until security arrived.

As soon as the other players on the field noticed what was going on, they started racing in Dmitrovic’s direction and soon the man was encircled by a crowd. The man tried to resist while he was on the ground by trying to escape Marko’s hold but he failed. Later, security eventually removed him from the game.

UEFA launches an investigation.
UEFA, which oversees European football, has launched an investigation into the attack on Sevilla goalkeeper. With an overall score of 3-2, Sevilla nevertheless moved to the next round despite losing the knockout round playoff by a score of 2-0.
The Athletic said that UEFA did not issue a statement, but the organisation did confirm to the website on Friday that a case had been opened as a result of the event. Even Dmitrovic pleaded with UEFA to step in following the incident, which left him with a red mark on his neck.
PSV ultimately defeated the opponent 2-0. The actual loser here, though, is the intrusive party. Why would someone charge the field and hit a goalkeeper? Debts from gaming could only be a factor. He was lucky that security did not beat him up even more.
