PGI Rohtak student Prachi has accused PGIMS anatomy doctor Maninder Kaushik of beating her and shared her injury photos on Instagram in a viral video

Earlier, reports emerged online claiming that a first year BDS student at PGI, Rohtak, was allegedly assaulted by a senior male doctor.

This incident came to light days after Kolkataโs RG Kar Medical College and Hospital incident, which sent shockwaves to the entire nation.
The Rohtak PGI incident came to public attention after an X/Twitter user, who goes by the name @drdoom0303, shared a video of the distressed female doctor, who appeared in tears and showed the injuries she sustained during the assault.
What Did the Viral Video Show?
The now-viral video features the BDS student recounting her harrowing experience of enduring 7 months of physical and mental abuse by her senior doctor.
As per claims made by her, the accused, Dr. Maninder Kaushik, who is a PG resident at PGI Rohtak, allegedly pressured her into a relationship, which she resisted. The accused is said to be Prachi, a first year student.

In retaliation, the senior doctor allegedly assaulted her and even made threats to cut her attendance. In the now-viral video, the medical student can be seen claiming that Dr. Maninder Kaushik had tortured her both physically and mentally.
In addition, the viral tweet also includes a screenshot of a chat wherein the victim can be seen describing the situation. The alleged chat reads, โFor nearly 12 hours, from 11 p.m. on the 16th until 1 p.m. on the 17th, he subjected me to extreme physical and emotional abuse.
โHe kicked, punched, and tortured me with a knife, leaving marks all over my body, including my face.โ
However, as of now, the viral video and the screenshot of the chat are yet to be verified. As per the viral post, the alleged assault lasted for 12 hours, from August 16 to August 17, during which the suspect reportedly threatened her with a knife and left multiple injuries on her body.
Moreover, the viral post also includes a picture of the complaint filed by the BDS student.

What Did the Complaint Read?
A medical legal report from PTBD Sharma Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Rohtak, dated August 17, detailed her injuries, including multiple contusions, abrasions, and complaints of pain in various areas of her body, such as her head, face, neck, arms, lower back, and thighs.
In the same post, another X user, @DoctorHussain96, commented that the accused doctor had been arrested.
Rohtakโs Deputy Superintendent of Police, Virendra Singh said that a first-year BDS student from PGIMS had lodged a complaint on Sunday night and alleged that she was kidnapped and assaulted. Maninder Kaushik, an MD anatomy resident at PGIMS, has now been expelled by the institution and banned from the campus.
