Following a brawl at Patriot High School that left one of their classmates unconscious, three minors have been charged with assault as the fight video went viral

The brawl that occurred in the common area of the Mabassas, Virginia, school was reported to the resource officer at 7:41 a.m. on Wednesday, according to Inside Nova. The victim and his 17-year-old classmate got into a quarrel at first.

Later on, two more students reportedly joined in and started kicking and hitting the guy repeatedly. The 14-year-old victim was unconscious when he was lying on the ground at one point. Up until other students stepped in, several kids could be seen filming the physical attack.
The victim’s injuries are not considered life-threatening
A video of the altercation at Patriot High School circulated on social media. There is a blurry video of the incident on several news portals, although it was not available on social media when this article was written.
Law authorities stated that the attackers, a 17-year-old and a 15-year-old boy, were accused of malicious wounding and mob lynching. According to reports, they have also obtained a warrant to charge a seventeen-year-old kid with both mob assault and battery.

The principal of Patriot High School issues a statement
Michael Bishop, the school’s principal, reminded the student body in a letter how important it is to resolve conflicts amicably. He declared: “Please emphasize to your kids the value of reporting troubling information to a trustworthy adult to resolve conflicts amicably. I value your assistance and collaboration.”
Following their discovery of the fight, Prince William County Public Schools also promptly informed the Patriot High School students’ worried parents and guardians of their plans to take action.
“We learned that there had been a brawl at Patriot High School this morning before classes started. PWCS acted right away, enlisting the help of the Prince William County Police Department, which is currently looking into the incident. PWCS shall implement all suitable disciplinary measures as stipulated by the Code of Conduct. Fighting is against the Code of Behavior, which carries disciplinary actions up to and including expulsion.”
