The video of a Parkland High School North Carolina teacher beaten being by a student has gone viral

A student from North Carolina High School is charged for allegedly slapping his teacher on various occasions during a profanity-laden tirade that went viral earlier this week.

For the unfamiliar, the Incident unfolded at Parkland High School in Winston-Salem. According to a video that is now making its rounds across social media, the student involved in the incident is a minor who seemed to be confronting the teacher as he launched a violent attack.

What Exactly Happened? 

Following the slap’s initial shock, the teacher appeared unruffled as the student persisted in speaking. “Do you believe that had any effect on me?” the unidentified teacher remarked, reclining in her chair with legs crossed.

In reply to that, the juvenile asked his teacher “Want me to hit you again,” as he menacingly approached her. To which the teacher replied “I don’t want it,” before being hit again. This time the student hit her on the right side.

The Instructor’s glasses were sent flying by the second blow as she sat. “The fu*k’s wrong with you, what you gonna do, still sit in that chair ’cause you a b*tch. Ain’t nobody even coming, you got slapped,” the student taunts his teacher with singing and dancing.

“B*tch go back to teaching,” he further added. The students behind the camera who were recording responded to the slaps with laughter as the classroom assault unfolded.

The school district swiftly denounced the students’ actions. “This conduct will not be accepted. There is never a circumstance where it’s permissible for students to physically assault a teacher within Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools,” stated Tricia McManus, Superintendent of Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools, as reported by WXII.

“Presently, my priority is ensuring that our teacher receives appropriate care and assistance to cope with the enduring repercussions of this event.”

The Forsyth Sheriff’s Office announced on Tuesday that a secure custody order was issued for a student facing 3 misdemeanor charges related to assaulting a government official. The charges include one count of communicating threats and two counts of misdemeanor assault.

Earlier during an interview, Sheriff Bobby F. Kimbrough Jr. told reporters, “While we all agree that this incident was deplorable and outrageous to the community and community organizations. All of us should be outraged when those who educate us can be assaulted.”

Principal Noel Keener cautioned that the student would be subject to both disciplinary measures and criminal charges. Forsyth County District Attorney Jim O’Neil swiftly initiated an investigation into the recently circulated viral video for potential criminal conduct.

O’Neil underscored the unacceptable nature of workplace assault, emphasizing the fundamental right to safety in the workplace.
