“He wins matches in domestic cricket and performs well. Some teammates were upset that he wished Holi to some of his friends on X and asked him to delete the tweet. What kind of drama is this?” the YouTubers commented.
They also argued that Dahani deserved a place in the Pakistani squad for the 2023 ODI World Cup in India but was overlooked in favor of Haris Rauf, who plays for Lahore Qalandars in the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Dahani, who represents Multan Sultans in the PSL, has previously expressed his admiration for Indian cricket legend MS Dhoni, describing their meeting during the T20 World Cup in 2021 as a dream come true. Dahani recalled how Dhoni’s advice on life and cricket left a lasting impression on him.
