During the championships, Curry demonstrated his new distinctive reaction, the “night night” celebration, to the world. A video of FC Barcelona midfielder Ousmane Dembele performing the “night night” gesture recently went viral. Stephen Curry responded to the soccer player performing his iconic celebration by calling it “a movement.”

Many athletes throughout the world have imitated the celebration since its inception. Sabrina Ionescu popularised the celebration in the WNBA, and Curry’s excitement has even spread to younger NBA players.
Stephen Curry is without a doubt one of the most significant basketball players of the contemporary age. In fact, his effect has been so significant that some, such as commentator Bobby Marks, say he is the second-best player in NBA history, after only Michael Jordan.
“Steph Curry is, in my opinion, the second-best player of all time. Michael Jordan is just behind him. Curry has the same instinct I have seen with Jordan. When he has the ball, you expect it to go in. He poses an offensive danger. I believe Curry is still at his peak for another 3 or 4 years.”
It remains to be seen whether the other sportsmen may emulate Stephen Curry’s reaction in the future. As he stated on his Twitter, it has definitely become “a movement” all over the world. The Golden State Warriors have the ability to replicate as champions next season, and there is no denying that they have a talented squad. While the Western Conference will undoubtedly be more difficult next year, the Warriors will almost surely be comfortable in their prospects with Curry.
Dembele meanwhile looks set to stay at the Spanish club after news of Chelsea being in for the player. It remains to be seen if he can stay fit though in the impending time to come.
