Video footage of 18 year old Omar Laing being killed in a drive by shooting has gone viral
With a innate talent, one which saw starlet Omar Laing dream of playing for Manchester City one day, the footballer saw his potential fail to be unlocked properly after he was shot aged just 18.

Video footage which has gone viral shows Omar killed in a drive by shooting with him murdered in downtown Kingston. Omar who had gone to make preparations for his birthday was chased by men who came in a gray car with them running after him to the corner of Charles and Oranges street.

He was then pumped with bullets before the assailants went onto make their escape in the waiting car. While police are reviewing the 30 second CCTV footage which shows the entire set of events, they are yet to nail down on the people who carried out the killing and the reason behind it.
The killing as meanwhile fraught Omar’s neighbourhood and family with grief with many left bereaved and in shock over what had transpired. Melorine Gizart says her son’s murder has stunned the entire community into silence with he St Andrew Technical High School footballer making final preparations for his birthday party Friday evening.
Omar who had two other siblings was set to travel with Jamaica Premier League champions Cavalier to the 2022 Caribbean Club Championship in the Dominican Republic.
