The actress represented India with pride internationally, winning over millions of hearts with her mesmerising dancing moves.
With her performances of several songs, including the official FIFA World Cup anthem “Light The Sky,” Nora lit up the stage. She also performed dance moves to her hit songs, including O Saki Saki. Nora was incredibly stunning in her glittering attire.
Nevertheless, amid all the praise and cheers, for disrespecting the Indian national flag at the ceremony, Nora received criticism.

Nora was seen holding the tricolour upside down.
In a social media video that has gone viral, Nora is seen on a global platform waving the Indian flag and exclaiming “Jai Hind” while wearing glittery attire. The actress, who is holding the Tricolor, is saying, “Jai Hind, Zor se, Zor se!”. “India is not competing in the FIFA World Cup, but we are still in the spirit of things,” she continues.
Social media users quickly noted that she was holding the national flag upside down. She grabbed the lying Indian flag from the stage and waved it with no concerns for if it was the right way p or not. She had the flag gripped in her palms without realising it. Social media was flooded with angry Indians who criticised Nora for disrespecting the Indian flag.

Nora had a cameo appearance in the song Manike by Sidharth Malhotra in the movie Thank God. Along with Karan Johar and Madhuri Dixit, Nora is presently a judge on the dance-focused reality competition Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. She recently released the song “Jihad Nasha,” which she performed in the movie An Action Hero with Ayushmaan Khurrana.
Probe Agency Interrogates Nora Regarding 200 Crore Extortion Case
According to official sources, Bollywood actor Nora Fatehi came before the Enforcement Directorate on Friday to provide testimony for a 200-crore money laundering investigation against alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar and his colleagues.
The federal government has previously questioned Ms Fatehi, 30. According to sources, she would be questioned regarding Chandrashekhar and her statement will be recorded by the PMLA’s relevant sections. In front of the Economic Offences Wing, Nora Fatehi had argued in September that she was a victim of the plot and not a conspirator. She had also given the police screenshots of her conversations with Sukesh.
