Newcastle Fans Fight A Kid In The Stands For Joelinton’s Jersey, Video Goes Viral
Following the final whistle, numerous Newcastle players approached the visiting supporters to express their gratitude for their support. Joelinton, the goal-scoring hero, then flung his shirt into the crowd, aiming it at a little supporter. However, it caused a commotion as supporters started fighting over the jersey. The video can be seen here.
As a supporter on the left attempted to grab the child’s jersey, he stuck to it. Before the stewards attempted to get involved and solve the conflict, another supporter got engaged. While they celebrated yet another great victory, spectators nearby appeared unaware.
Eddie Howe’s team has now won six straight Premier League games. Even though they have played two more games, they are only four points behind league leaders Arsenal. The gap between the Magpies and fifth-placed Manchester United is also seven points. They defeated Bournemouth 1-0 last week to get to the quarterfinals of the Carabao Cup as well.

Newcastle moves up to second as they defeat Leicester.
Leicester boss Brendan Rodgers even said that Newcastle should definitely be considered title contenders as Eddie Howe’s club moved into the second position in the Premier League. Not even the World Cup break appears to be slowing Newcastle’s pursuit of Champions League football.
Newcastle defeated one of the previous top teams in the division early on thanks to goals from Chris Wood, Miguel Almirón, and Joelinton. For that team, the six-week international break in Qatar definitely arrived at the wrong time, as Newcastle went on to win its sixth straight league match. For the first time in 15 years, Newcastle went up 3-0 in the 32nd minute of an away Premier League game.
The teams will square off once more in the Carabao Cup quarterfinal in two weeks, but with a trip to the league leaders, Arsenal, on Tuesday, Newcastle’s priorities may have shifted by then.
