Stuart Duguid, the agent of Naomi Osaka claimed that the tennis player was asked an aggressive question at the presser as she cries 

Appearing at her first press conference after having refused to have attended to her media duties during the French Open after which she ended up withdrawing from the competition, Naomi Osaka failed to fare any better this time around as well.

Fined for skipping her post-match media appearances at the French Open with the organisers refusing to provide any leeway to the Japanese women’s tennis player, Osaka had cited her mental health and anxiety at facing the media for withdrawing from the event. The player had talked about how she was jittery when asked to address media platforms and reply to their questions back in May.

However, she finally managed to address a press conference this time around ahead of her participating at the Western and Southern Open 2021. Things looked to be going relatively well for her as well as she managed to course their four rounds of questioning without any untoward happenings.

However, things quickly went awry after she was asked how she benefitted from holding a high media profile despite refusing to interact with member from the press by Paul Daugherty from the Cincinnati Enquirer.

Ensuing the question, Osaka was seen tearing up as she was visibly shaken up before she decided to walk away from the presser. While she did return soon after to complete the round of questioning, her agent, Stuart Duguid has since gone onto slam Daugherty for giving Osaka a raw deal by asking her an aggressive question.
