Aside from the big accident involving ten bikes, the race also saw a flame-engulfed bike, which forced participants to flee.

According to The Reports, riders wrecked as they neared the second curve with 15 circuits remaining in the race. Aron Canet fractured his wrist after colliding with 11 other riders during the Moto2 Grand Prix race, according to speedcafe.com. Somkiat Chantra, Tony Arbolino, Augusto Fernandez, Sam Lowes, Albert Arenas, Pedro Acosta, Zonta van den Goorbergh, and Simone Corsi were among the other riders involved in the incident.
Riders were forced to leave after Zonta Van Den Goorbergh’s motorcycle caught fire. When the bike caught fire, marshals raced in to assist the riders and put out the fire, with everyone escaping harm.
The event was “very terrifying,” according to rider Cameron Beaubier, who is grateful that everyone involved is unharmed. To be honest, it was rather terrifying. The most important thing is that we are all safe and sound. The rider stated, There was a lot of turmoil, it’s a drag, but things are what they are.
Moto2 race Results:
The race restarted over seven circuits in dry circumstances after the race was red-flagged. Due to the incident, Joe Roberts secured a historic maiden win in Moto2. And the first Grand Prix victory for an American rider since Ben Spies grabbed the top step of the podium at Assen in MotoGP in 2011. Celestino Vietti of VR46 came in second to extend his championship lead, with Jorge Navarro rounding out the podium.
With the victory, the American moved up to fourth place in the drivers’ standings.
Roberts now has the same number of points as Aron Canet, who has already accumulated 49 points this season.
