Roman Reigns and John Cena delivered a pinch perfect buildup to their impending WWE SummerSlam 2021 during WWE Smackdown Live

At a time when nothing is swinging in WWE’s favour, the John Cena vs Roman Reigns has managed to offer some kind of semblance to the company. The two mainstays of the organisation have been linked up for WWE SummerSlam with the duo set to battle it out for the WWE Universal Championship belt.

Currently held by Reigns, the fight for the Universal Championship belt is fast escalating. The two have been clashing heads with each other over the last couple of weeks, leaving no stone unturned to besmirch each other with the filthiest of insults.

Belittling Cena the last time around as he called him the missionary position, Roman Reigns brought back the insult at WWE Smackdown. Reigns once again compared Cena to the sex position as he talked about how the position might have worked for Cena for 20 years but it was something which didn’t hold well with Nikki Bella.

It was a disgusting blow, one which left Cena in angst. However, he had his own fun as well as he sent a hoard of insults down Reigns’ way, talking about how his teeth looked like soap bars and how he had driven Dean Ambrose away from the organisation.

It was a well executed segment, one which finally accorded WWE with some breathing space. The company has gone off the steam in 2021 with releases and lackluster stories seeing AEW make a name for itself.
