The duo has been constantly touring different parts of the country to promote their film. However, Mike Tyson hasn’t taken time in forgetting that he even had a role in the horrid movie.

During one such event, the lead of the film, Vijay revealed that during the filming of the movie, his co-star and former world heavyweight champion boxer Mike Tyson had abused him in English language adding that he couldn’t even repeat what Tyson had said.

At the time during a conversation with IANS, Vijay said, “He abused me a lot, albeit lovingly, in English and I can’t even repeat what he said to me.

But yes, I had a good time with him.”

Later, Vijay opened up about the diet of the famous American boxer. He said, “His diet is somewhat similar to Ananya (Panday).”

Ananya has also played the female lead and the lover of Vijay in the movie. She has also shared about her bonding with Tyson.

The 33-year-old actor, Vijay also revealed Tyson’s love for India and what he feared the most in the country.

As per Vijay, “He loves India a lot for its food, music and people. In fact, he used to ask us to bring Indian food for him which he enjoyed a lot.

“But yes, he is scared of the crowd here. Once he came here and stayed only in the hotel, as he was scared of the crowd that gathers at the airport or any other place.”

Speaking of the film, Liger has been the center of attention since it’s release date announce as netizens had been continuously boycotting it for various reasons but the main remains it’s connection with Bollywood’s famous director and producer Karan Johar.

Liger film is a pan India film directed and written by the Puri Jagannadh. The film has been recorded simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu both languages.

It’s a sports action film where Vijay had played the role of a MMA fighter. Tyson has seen in a cameo role. The movie has released today, Aug 25 in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam languages.

The film has produced under the banner of Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. According to various reports, Liger has break all the records as it has managed to grossed Rs. 3.6 Crore during its premiere in the United States.
