On October 9, A Video Of Maulana Azad Medical College Students Making Fun Of Sudama And Bhagwan Krishna By Depicting Sudama As Inebriated Went Viral On Twitter
The song “Are Dwarpalon Kanhaiya Ko Kehdo” may be heard in the 44-second video that Author Anshul Pandey posted. Krishna was portrayed on stage by one of the girls playing. A male actor appears on the right side of the screen as Sudama inebriated. Then he fumbles with throwing money into the air after stumbling, sitting on stage, and sitting on the board. Actors then pose as though they are swigging straight liquor from bottles while standing up on stage.
Maulana Azad Medical College Students Mock And Belittle Hindu Gods With Lord Krishna And Sudama Abused, Video Goes Viral On Twitter
The actor portraying Krishna is approached toward the end of the film and is given a drink from his bottle. The crowd applauds.
Pandey claimed in a statement to the reporter, “I was disgusted when I saw the video. Back of me wished everyone could witness what was taking place in the name of “art.” I received a direct message (DM) on Twitter with the alleged “apologetic” letter after the popular video, which I posted on my timeline and wanted to know if they believe that after the apology, we Hindus will take a seat. I think they feel free to mock Sanatan Dharma since we don’t penalise such behaviour severely.”
The Students Were Asked Not To Perform Without Any Individual Apology.
He responded, “I did not see the apology from the students,” when asked if he thought the apology was sufficient. As far as he knew, this was nothing more than a notification from the medical college’s Residential Doctors Association that they had taken action against the student. “I don’t think that simply prohibiting them from performing in the future will be sufficient to halt this “culture” of making fun of Hindus. Sincere to say, the kids’ behaviour falls under Section 295A. I hope they realise how offended the Hindu community’s religious feelings have been by their actions.”
According to reporters, they contacted college sources to better grasp the circumstances. The Residents Doctors Association and Azad Medicos Association held their four-day annual festival Synapse for the first time this year, according to a resident doctor who was aware of the circumstances. He spoke to the reporter on the condition of anonymity and according to the source, he said “the group who performed the satirical act, the seniors called the Mahaul Makers, and requested that they submit a written apology only after realising that the play might have offended a community.”
A leading news channel has requested a copy of the kids’ written apology, and we will include it if and when we get it.
He said, “Many of the medical professionals here are Bhagwan Krishna devotees. It was clear how they would have clashed, yet the apology was given unconditionally. This debate ought to end as it will unnecessarily damage our prestigious institute’s reputation. I can promise you that the group Mahaul Makers has been disbanded, and the pupils who participated in the act will not be permitted to perform in the future.”
The Resident Doctors Association’s News Release
The Maulana Azad Medical College’s Resident Doctors Association released a press release on the subject. They stated that the incident took place during a satirical comedy show as part of the annual college fest on September 27, 2022. Synapse, a four-day college festival organised jointly by the Residents Doctors Association and Azad Medicos Association, took place within the college. The Sudama and Lord Krishna script for the event was kept a secret due to its competitive nature as this was against the organising committee’s rules and regulations.
They continued saying that in light of the degrading and unethical act shown in the video, the cultural society displaying it known as Mahaul Makers. They have been barred from participating in campus activities as of the very next day, September 28. Additionally, a written apology was requested and provided and the group and college call themselves “Secular”.
Mahaul Makers are known for consistently performing the same script.
Our investigation into the Mahaul Makers revealed that their Instagram account had been deleted. Additionally, we discovered videos of previous performances, and one in particular from 2018 caught our eye. The Mahaul Makers executed the same script in the video. The question now is why no action was done at the time, and why the current response was delayed until after the uproar.
Is this the word secularism stands for? Mocking the gods in their own country and killing and taking over their land and culture in the name of secularism? Is this new youth new generation of doctors we are looking forward to?
