Famous singer Matty Healy is once again making news for kissing a fan and sucking the fingers and thumb of another at a concert with the video viral
The lead vocalist of The 1975 is known for interacting with the audience by inviting participants to the stage or the crowd.
Well, on night of 8 December he did it again when he was spotted kissing a girl in the front row at a concert in Brighton. When videos showing the 33-year-old musician nibbling on a fan’s thumb and locking lips with another surfaced on Twitter after the concert, he found himself in the centre of a Twitter rage.

Healy makes his move and shares a quick kiss with the fan in a Twitter video of him playing a cover of the classic song “Robbers,” before breaking away and continuing the song. The embrace must have gone over well, because the woman posted about how happy it made her. A user with the username @dntyoumind posted the clip with the caption, “So Matty Healy just french kissed me.”
Fans make fun of Matty Healy on twitter
An inquisitive fan joked, “does he taste like meat?” in reference to Matt’s bizarre behaviour last November, when he ate raw meat on stage at New York’s Madison Square Garden. He tasted like red wine, the admirer said.
Many of the 4500 people who packed The Brighton Centre night were shocked to see Matt act so provocatively in front of his parents, Denise Welch and Tim Healy. Someone commented under one of the videos, “In front of his parents????”
Not the first time they are in trouble
The Robbers frontman has made headlines before, but this is the first time he’s done so during The 1975’s At Their Very Best tour. In December, Matty Healy kissed a fan who’d asked him to be her first kiss with a sign, but only after he’d checked her ID to make sure she was of legal age.
As of January 30th, The 1975 will have played their final show of their UK tour in Belfast. With Adam Hann on lead guitar, Ross MacDonald on bass, and George Daniel on drums, the band has released five straight number one albums, the most recent being 2018’s Being Funny in a Foreign Language. The Manchester-based band has won three Brit Awards as well.
