In the ongoing The Hundred tournament, Southern brave were taking on Oval invincible at the Kennington Oval. The southern brave were batting first and looking for a flourish by Stoinins at the last 40 balls of the innings. The Australian all-rounder was well settled at 37 off 26 deliveries and was ready for the acceleration. Sam Billings brought the 22 years old back into the attack to remove dangerous Stoinis. Mohammad Hasnain was banned by ICC for illegal action earlier this year
The 22-year-old fast bowler has faced many objections at the beginning of his career for his illegal action. In February 2022 the PCB took a biomechanic test of Hasnain’s Bowling action at Lahore after it was reported in the Big Bash league. The latter wasn’t allowed to play the Home series against Pakistan and had to withdraw from PSL too. Now after 4 months the young fast bowler cleared the test and got the green sign from ICC.
Shoaib Akhtar not so happy with Stoinis’s Gesture and called it “Shameful”
The all-time fastest bowler in the world Shoaib Akhtar who also faces similar allegations at the beginning of his career has come in the support of Hasnain. He said that what stoinis did was very unprofessional and shameful. He said that No player should dare to do it once the bowler’s action is cleared by the ICC.
