A Manchester United fan was besotted by Roberto Firmino with him seen asking the Liverpool striker for his jersey
Over the years as Liverpool have grown in stature and Manchester United have dwindled as a team, the rivalry between both the sides has grown extremely lopsided in nature. However, even by the waning standards of the contest between the two traditional rivals, the 5-0 smacking Manchester United received on Sunday was unprecedented.
In what was an aberration by the club, the side left its fans flummoxed after completely rolling over infront of Liverpool. Having no answers to Liverpool’s ruthless and relentless attack, Manchester United failed to show the stomach for a fight with a 10 man side slumping to a horrific defeat.
Manchester United Fan Asks Roberto Firmino For His Jersey
The club’s languid display left the side’s fans irate with a hoard of them seen rushing out of Old Trafford at half-time and during the second half. However, one fan was less than concerned with his side’s torrid showing with him only interested in snagging a Roberto Firmino jersey for his social media platforms.
The Manchester United fan in question was seen asking the Liverpool striker for his shirt as the clash ended. Upon being obliged by the Brazilian, the fan was quick to hide the jersey away from the eyes of his fellow supporters.

Manchester United were routed 5-0 by Liverpool on the night with things going from bad to worse for them as Paul Pogba was sent of in the second half. Liverpool went on a rampage on the day with Mohamed Salah acting as the bagpiper of the club’s win as he record a hat-trick.
