While its fair to take potshots at your rivals during football matches, its a completely different thing to belittle them by mocking their predicament and reveling in their misery. And as their side took a tearaway 2-0 lead in the first half of their quarter-final against Liverpool in the Carabao Cup, Leicester City fans decided it was time for them to bellow the chant as well. Boisterous visiting supporters were seen rejoicing in the unsavory chant as their side sat on a comfortable lead against a second string Liverpool outfit.

However, as things turned around and Takumi Minamino restored parity for Liverpool in the 90+5th minute to level things at 3-3, the Leicester City fans went quite. They ended up losing any voice they had in them as Diego Jota sealed Liverpool’s win on penalties, a strike which saw the home side’s fans give it back to their nemeses.
