After years of hurt, anguish and disappointment on the international stage, Lionel Messi finally managed to get his haywire outings with Argentina in order. The Barcelona man won his first ever international trophy with his country as he got his hands around the coveted Copa America.
Defeating Brazil 1-0 in the showpiece summit clash, Messi ended up playing a defining role in his side’s triumph. The Argentinian was the tournament’s top scorer, a notable effort which saw him being lauded with the player of the tournament as well.

Don who is extremely popular on TikTok owing to his devout following of Messi managed to catch the player’s attention as well. Don who has over the years maintained a 730 page notebook of every Messi goal with each moment being handwritten, saw Messi reach out to him through a video message ensuing the Copa America win.
A video has surfaced online of Don’s grandson showing him the video message by Messi. Messi can be heard thanking Don for his support, saying it was crazy how the Spaniard grandfather had over the years managed to capture each of his goal.
