Hitting the roof and believing themselves to be the only people in India who have business acumen, a slew of the sharks on Shark Tank India have faced colossal backlash since the show has been aired on Shark Tank India.

Despite funneling crores into their own business to generate a profit with many of them still not reporting a profit despite years of functioning and being stuffed by investor money, the judges on Shark Tank India haven’t shied away from ripping into the contestants. Fraught with a decadent personality, their criticism has come from a petulant attitude, one which has tried to pull people down rather than serving a true mentors in their growth.

Peyush Bansal, the Founder and CEO of Lenskart has become the latest shark from the show to face backlash after his recent comments in an episode aired on Friday on Sony TV. The CA community on Twitter has been seething after Bansal’s comments of ”Ek advice hai CA se durr raho” which quite offended many viewers” one he made after revealing his father himself was a CA.

This isn’t the first time the show has courted controversy with BharatPe’s Ashneer Grover often lambasted for his approach towards people and their grit and determination. Many have been quick to remind him of the Rs.300 crore he pumped into his company to try and generate a scanty revenue at its onset.
