A supporter may be seen in the video that was released on Twitter at Accrington, standing close to the Leeds away end. It happened after Jesse Marsch’s team went up 3-0 in the final 22 minutes thanks to Luis Sinisterra.

After leaping over the billboards, they landed on the grass and began to do the worm. The travelling fans could not control their laughter. A steward approached the fan as they stood up and escorted them off the field. However, as security brought them away, the supporters applauded and pumped their fists.

Accrington 1-3 Leeds

For the first time since 2016, Leeds United defeated League One Accrington Stanley to advance to the FA Cup fifth round behind a magnificent 25-yard goal from Jack Harrison. Halfway through the first half, Harrison, who has been linked with a £20 million move to Leicester City, scored with a left-footed shot into the bottom right corner.

Junior Firpo increased Leeds’ lead after the break before Sinisterra swiftly scored a third. A spirited first half saw 18 shots, with Leeds continuing to press with Luis Sinisterra having a curling attempt diverted onto the post. The left-back scored his first goal for Leeds when Junior Firpo’s clever reverse ball allowed Bamford to slot home for the second goal that their outstanding forward performance deserved.

Leeds had a sizable lead when Sinisterra brilliantly directed Harrison’s cut-back from the penalty spot by opening his body. After Accrington had a strong start, Leslie Adekoya, an 18-year-old replacement, scored his first senior goal with a brilliant dink over Illan Meslier 38 seconds into the match.

Leeds, under the direction of Jesse Marsch, have dropped their previous six Premier League contests, but the FA Cup offers some solace and could boost their confidence to aid in their fight for survival.
