Video footage of West Ham player Kurt Zouma kicking his pet cat and treating it like a football has gone viral
Another day, another Premier League player losing his marbles and going bonkers. Adding his name to the deranged pile of Benjamin Mendy, Yves Bissouma, Gylfi Sigurdsson and Mason Greenwood, West Ham defender Kurt Zouma was filmed on a Snapchat video kicking his pet cat all around his house and treating it like a football.

Video footage which has been leaked of the cringeworthy incident has gone viral, one where the 27 year old French defender is seen throwing his pet Bengal cat on the kitchen floor and then kicking it midway. Another video shows him chase the cat around his 2 million pound home in London on Sunday before he smacks it right out of a child’s arms and throws shoes at it.

The video was taken by his brother Yoan who is heard laughing and reveling in Zouma’s distasteful and appalling actions. Zouma could face upto 5 years in prison after the sentencing for animal cruelty was increased from six months last year.
A spokesperson for RSPCA said: “This is a very upsetting video. It’s never acceptable to kick, hit or slap an animal, for punishment or otherwise.
“We are so grateful to people who report suspected animal suffering to us and we would like to reassure people we will always look into and, if necessary, investigate any complaints made to us about animal welfare.”
West Ham have also meanwhile acknowledged the video and spoken about conducting an internal investigation into the player’s conduct while the player went onto claim he was sorry for what had transpired after being caught red handed.
