Why Dumbdumbjeez is banned from Kick?

Kick streamer Dumbdumbjeez is facing severe backlash after pulling a highly controversial prank on a homeless woman during a live stream. The incident began when he took the woman on an apparent date, only to abandon her with the restaurant bill once it arrived with the video of him dining and dashing now viral. This insensitive prank quickly went viral on X.com, catching the attention of some of Kick’s co-founders and sparking widespread criticism. As a result, Dumbdumbjeez has since been banned from the platform.

Kick co-founder Bijan Tehrani openly criticized the streamer, describing him as “pathetic” and pledging $50,000 to the woman if the public could help locate her. Tehrani invited people to assist, sharing that his direct messages were open for leads. At the same time, Kick CEO Ed Craven expressed his dismay, noting it was heartbreaking to see and adding his hope that the woman would be found quickly and could make meaningful use of the money.

In a video response to the now-viral clip, Dumbdumbjeez shared that the stream served as their entry into the initial phase of Sam Pepper’s challenge, which required participants to go on a date with a stranger. They went on to explain that they had received a three-day ban from Kick due to the clip, adding that the woman had been informed of what would take place beforehand.
