A man named Kendall Floyd jumped from an elevated subway route on 6th July 2022 in order to escape NYPD with the NYC video viral

A 25-year-old man, Kendall Floyd brought the comic character, Spiderman to life when he jumped off the Subway in order to escape the police. The man is a resident of Queens, New York.

Why did Kendall Floyd Jump

Floyd was spotted cruising around Williamsburg in his car without a seatbelt on Wednesday, July 6th, 2022. The NYPD conducted a traffic stop for Kendall at Humboldt and Debevoise streets around 4:10 p.m. The man suddenly threw open the door of his car, assaulted a police officer and flee.

The police caught up with him after three blocks but Floyd decided to climb on a stanchion pole of the elevated subway. He then threw himself off the subway to the roof of another building.

The video of this terrifying incident is getting viral on the internet. In the video, the crowd can be heard shouting “don’t do it! It’s not worth it!” as the 25-year-old man takes the leap disregarding the eas of the public.

Although Floyd managed to jump a great distance and landed on the rook of the building, he was not able to escape from the police during the whole ordeal.

The whole incident looked like a chaotic goose chase. It got recorded in a video and initially posted on Twitter from an account with the username, “nuffsaidNY”.

The cops surrounded the building as the young man planned to jump. In the video, one cop is seen climbing the fence while the rest of them rushed to the building to intercept the man on the run. One cop is seen drawing a wooden frame to the fence to enter the back of the building.

He sustained leg injuries and was immediately rushed to a hospital. He was taken to Woodhull Medical Center, NYC and is reported to be fine now. The police officer who struck was by Floyd us also alright.

According to the police, he was driving without a seatbelt. But now he is being charged with assault on a police officer, reckless endangerment, official misconduct, false personation, and two counts of criminal trespassing.

Kendall Floyd had a bad police record as he was arrested for third-degree burglary back in 2017. He came out of jail in 2919. After this incident, he is once again arrested and might come out on parole in 2023, reported DailyMail.

The same Twitter account also shared the video of Floyd being taken away by the police.
