The tweet in question said, “Such fun in unbelievable techno-nightmare CCP hell,” which Jordan Peterson later admitted was a reference to his misunderstanding of the video’s contents. The video, which depicted three naked males connected to “male milking machines,” was posted by a user claiming to document human rights violations in China.

The caption of the post read, “What’s going on in China? Three children policy?” Mikhaila Peterson, his daughter, replied to the tweet by saying,”DAD you can’t retweet this on Twitter. My eyes will never recover.”
Jordan Peterson is a well-known right-wing online figure, a professor of psychology at the University of Toronto, and a scholar of personality who is often cited. He also wrote “12 Rules for Life,” a self-help book for men and boys that is the best-selling nonfiction book on Amazon in the United States.

In a video, he said that feminists have “an unconscious wish for brutal male dominance” and compared developing countries to “pits of catastrophe.” Also, he recently told a Times reporter that he supports “enforced monogamy.”
