As per reports, whatever the Liverpool skipper said in the video doesn’t look great and is going to be investigated by the FA.

As per a report by The Guardian, the Football Association is weighing up the matter to launch an investigation after the incident involving players from both sides.

After the game, Oliver spoke to both managers and the matter was referred to the FA, which will now talk to the officials before deciding their next move.

A spokesperson from FA said in a statement, “We are aware of an incident that took place during the match between Arsenal and Liverpool. We are in dialogue with the match officials and will review the details of the incident.”

According to another report, the disciplinary chiefs of FA are expected to want eye-witness, who can account from both players before deciding if any action is required or not after the on-field spat that stopped Sunday’s Clash.

In their post-match media appearances, both Arteta and Klopp drew a veil over the incident.

So far, the FA has declined to give any further guidance since confirming it was “aware of an incident that took place” in the game and that, after dialogue with the officials and clubs, it would “review the details of the incident.”

As a matter of urgency, Oliver had submitted his report but his decision to take no action on the pitch was a clear indication that he had heard allegations about what was said to have taken place.

However he himself has not been a witness to the incident. In these circumstances, the FA investigative official would normally seek to get first-hand accounts from all players or other personnel involved in an altercation.
