Joe Westerman, a loose forward for the Castleford Tigers, was observed engaging in activity with a woman who is none other than his friend’s wife. After being caught on camera f***ing in an alley, the Super League rugby player was thrown out by his wife and his club. “Can I have a go?” is heard being said by an onlooker in the video. The player, who has two England caps and has played for 13 years in the top league, has his tackle made public.

Following the awful seven-second video’s last-night viral success, Castleford fined Westerman and ordered him to do community service teaching kids about the risks of alcohol. Additionally, his 33-year-old wife Lauren has evicted him from the family home in West Yorkshire town right now.

Lauren’s stance on the video

“Can I make it very clear that this is NOT me!!!!!!,” she stated on Twitter. She further asserted that she doesn’t need to see things like this all over social media, especially since she has three kids and one of whom is almost 15 years old.

Moreover, Lauren claimed to have received it from The Sun before the footage was published online. She is now more concerned for the futures of her kids. Lauren admitted that she was unable to process what had happened in the video and has been working to figure out what just happened.

Joe has started regretting it.

The 33-year-old expressed his desire to “wholeheartedly apologise” for his behaviour to his family and friends. He further apologised to his teammates as well as the fans, sponsors, employees, and directors of Castleford Tigers and the rugby league.

The footage was recorded over the weekend, just before the Super League season began. On February 19, the Tigers face Hull FC on the road before welcoming St Helens a week later in their Super League debut.
