Video footage shows Jeff Gladney and his girlfriend partying hours before the horrific car accident which resulted in their death
Andrea Mercedes Palacios, Jeff Gladney’s girlfriend, has been identified as the lady killed in a vehicle accident with the Arizona Cardinals defensive back on Monday morning.
Both her family and Dallas County police have recognized Palacios. Palacios’ brother, John Paul Figueroa, told NBC Dallas Fort-Worth, “She was simply a lovely, caring person. I’m just an extroverted person. She was usually with Jeff, so I knew she loved him”

Gladney and Palacios perished in a two-car collision on Dallas’ Woodall Rodgers Freeway early Monday morning with video showing them revelling in a party just moments before the accident.
Gladney and Palacios were in a white vehicle that raced up and struck a car from behind, according to police.
The second car’s passengers were not significantly hurt.
Gladney, who attended TCU, was drafted first overall by the Minnesota Vikings in the 2020 NFL Draft. After being accused of “intentionally, deliberately, and carelessly” exerting pressure on an ex-neck girlfriend’s throat. He was dismissed by the squad.
First, the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department stated that the collision occurred early Monday morning on the Woodall Rodgers Freeway. Mercedes Andrea Palacios, a 26-year-old Hispanic lady who is claimed to be the soccer player’s girlfriend, was also slain at the site.
He joined with the Cardinals this offseason after being found not guilty by a Texas jury.
Gladney’s cousin, Sharonda Francois, told WFAA that the defensive back had recently bought a house for his mother. Gladney is also the father of a one-year-old kid, according to her.
“He genuinely loved his baby,” Francois added.
So yet, and pending the findings of the autopsy, it is unknown if Gladney and his girlfriend were intoxicated at the time of the accident.
TCU’s Director of Intercollegiate Athletics, Jeremiah Donati, expressed his condolences as the story gathered spread.
