Despite their longstanding clash, this is the first time the duo will come face-to-face in the ring.
How It Started
The beef between the two all began when Paul took a dig at Tate’s lifestyle on social media. Paul’s remarks soon went viral across the internet much to Tate’s dismay.
Following the incident, the former kickboxer quickly responded that he would gladly fight Paul’s brother Logan for free. This statement was related to when the WWE Superstar had earlier expressed his desire to fight the Andrew Tate.
Paul, who has a 6-0 fight-record as a professional boxer, took to Twitter about going head to head with Tate. In the video that Paul shared, the pair can be seen inside a boxing ring, with Paul tagging his promotion Most Valuable Promotions.
Jake captioned the post “negotiations”, which could possibly mean that the discussions about a potential fight are currently underway.
Jake Paul’s Boxing Career
Jake Paul, nicknamed ‘The Problem Child’, received a lot of criticism when he first made his debut inside the ring. The 25-year-old however, gained some respect over time due to his performances.
Throughout his short boxing career, Paul has defeated the likes of Ben Askren and Tyron Woodley. The Problem Child even went on to defeat MMA great Anderson Silva recently to further extend his unbeaten streak. After which, Paul even called out both Nate Diaz and Canelo Alvarez.
Jake Paul On Andrew Tate
After his fight against Silva, Jake Paul spoke on the IMPAULSIVE podcast, about Andrew Tate. Jake Paul stated how he doesn’t believe that Andrew Tate would get into the ring with him or his brother.
He shared how it would be too big of a risk for Tate and his ‘alpha male’ concept. He revealed how a loss for Tate would throw out everything he has built so far. However, as things stand, a fight between the two now looks imminent.
