Joao Cancelo and Bernardo Silva both scored goals in addition to Ronaldo’s brace.

Nani, however, didn’t seem to mind. The ex-Manchester United player thought it was funny how Speed was celebrating so loudly. He began to giggle loudly as he left the area.

Ronaldo achieved another soccer milestone by competing against Liechtenstein as he achieves 197 football international caps. He fared better than Kuwait’s Badr Al-Mutawa.

Ronaldo celebrated the achievement in big style by scoring a fantastic brace.

Joao Cancelo’s goal in the eighth minute gave Portugal the advantage right away. That goal was controversial because Ronaldo got the finishing touch on a deflection. Many fans believed Ronaldo should have scored. In either scenario, Portugal scored, grabbing the lead right away.

Portugal had a 1-0 advantage over both teams at halftime. The red and green team made a swift start to the second half thanks to Bernardo Silva’s goal in the 47th minute. After that, Ronaldo scored with a penalty in the 51st minute.

Soon after the hour mark, Ronaldo was ready to take a free kick from the coveted “Ronaldo range.” After converting the free kick, Speed lost his cool with the spectators.

But this time, Nani was not around to celebrate with him. Seems like Nani was not a fan of Speed’s celebration of the penalty by tapping him on the head. He probably left him alone so that he could watch the rest of the game.

Portugal and Luxembourg will face off on March 26, 2023, in the following matchup. Ronaldo will make an effort to participate in as many games as he can to break the record for most international football caps.
