No one should ever go to a football match and be murdered for supporting their team. Ban Atlas and Queretaro from playing in the liga MX. This is disgusting man.

FIFA must withdraw the 2026 headquarters from Mexico. Mexico should not go to Qatar. Querétaro should be disaffiliated. Liga MX 2022 must be canceled There should not be football in Mexico again until there are conditions to do so #SIHAYMUERTOS #sihubomuertos #Atlas #Queretaro pic.twitter.com/LDIX1gax8p

Queretaro has since been banned from hosting matches at its stadium with spectators owing to the riot with the club set to play fixtures behind closed doors. It comes in the aftermath of an investigation carried out by officials in Mexico with the team’s ownership group barred from the league from 5 years as well.
The club’s last owners, Grupo Caliente have now been tasked with finding a new group to take over at the helm of the club. Incase a suitable new owner isn’t nailed down on, Liga MX will take over at the club.
Queretaro will also have to pay $1.5 million pesos ($70,000) in fines with many imploring FIFA to take away hosting rights from Mexico for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
